In just 48 hours, four drivers were caught driving under the influence in Sibiu, one causing an accident. Police conducted checks on October 17-18, revealing all tested drivers exceeded legal alcohol limits. The first incident involved a 22-year-old in Rășinari with a BAC of 1.06 mg/l. Another driver, aged 38, was found with 0.96 mg/l in Sibiu. A 36-year-old lost control and hit a parked car, registering 0.73 mg/l. Lastly, a 58-year-old was caught with 0.42 mg/l on DN 1. All four face criminal charges, highlighting the increasing risk of drunk driving in the region.
