Val de atacuri cibernetice în Japonia

Multiple Japanese companies and a university reported data breaches and cyberattacks, affecting hundreds of thousands of individuals. The Metropolitan University of Osaka revealed that data from at least 130,000 students and faculty may have been compromised due to a ransomware attack. Additionally, a retailer reported potential exposure of personal data for up to 1.7 million customers, while an internet service provider confirmed the theft of nearly 948,500 member records. A restaurant chain also disclosed that over 10 million customer details were leaked, although no misuse of the data has been confirmed. These incidents appear to be unrelated and were reported separately by the organizations involved.
