Vaccinul BCG revine în maternități | Ministerul Sănătății anunță 100.000 de doze

The Ministry of Health has announced the resumption of BCG vaccine procurement, with 100,000 doses expected to arrive at maternity hospitals next week. This follows bureaucratic delays that previously halted the acquisition process. The BCG vaccine is crucial for newborns to protect against severe tuberculosis. The initial procurement was canceled due to incorrect pricing documents from the supplier. Currently, there are 36,200 doses in stock, and the Ministry is working to ensure that children who missed vaccinations will be caught up promptly. Continuous monitoring of vaccine distribution will be maintained to support the immunization program.
