USR has officially declared its mandate for the upcoming consultations at Cotroceni Palace, advocating for early elections as the solution to the current political crisis. Party leader Dominic Fritz emphasized the need for politicians to return to the electorate for a fresh mandate. He also stated that USR will not join a government that includes PSD ministers and will not support any government that acts as a facade for PSD. Fritz confirmed that USR is open to dialogue with the designated prime minister if a different nomination is made by the president. Consultations for a new prime minister are scheduled for October 5.
