Iulian Bulai, a USR deputy, presented a motion at the APCE regarding the restitution of Romania's treasury confiscated by Moscow. The APCE Bureau has proposed drafting a report on this issue, with a rapporteur to be appointed in December. The motion, supported by other USR parliamentarians and European colleagues, addresses the unresolved issue of Romania's treasury sent to Moscow during World War I, valued at over €11.4 billion. The motion emphasizes the need for APCE to explore all viable financial and legal mechanisms for the return of the treasury or equivalent compensation.
