USR urges the National Integrity Agency to urgently publish the status of local and county councilors who are simultaneously elected and employed in public institutions, following new incompatibility regulations. The law, effective since August 9, prohibits such dual roles, putting many local officials at risk of incompatibility and potential sanctions. USR criticizes ANI for not providing timely clarity on these regulations and expresses concern over the interpretation of sanctions, which may affect employment rather than elected mandates. The party highlights the need for serious discussions on integrity standards for local officials.
