„Urgent caut șofer. Plata la încărcare”. Cum sunt recrutați prin TikTok șoferi români pentru transportul ilegal de migranți de la granițele UE
Romanian drivers are being recruited via TikTok to transport migrants illegally from Turkey to Bulgaria. Many posts on social media highlight the disappearance of drivers who accepted these jobs. Authorities are struggling to control this illegal practice, which is facilitated through social networks. A PressOne reporter went undercover and discovered a well-organized network behind these operations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that in July 2026, 120 Romanians were detained in Greece for migrant trafficking, with many receiving long prison sentences. TikTok accounts offer lucrative payments for transporting migrants, often requiring drivers to provide personal information and live location tracking.
