A car accident occurred in Ighiu early Monday morning when a vehicle crashed into a bridge and overturned. The 26-year-old driver from Blaj was under the influence of alcohol but refused hospital transport despite minor injuries. Police confirmed the driver lost control of the car, resulting in material damage only. An alcohol test showed a level of 0.88 mg/l.
