Authorities are searching for Vlad Bălțățeanu, a 30-year-old man suspected of murdering his 28-year-old girlfriend, Valentina Ionela Tănasie, on September 21. After allegedly killing her, he placed her body in a suitcase and disposed of it in a lake in Zăvideni, Vâlcea. A warrant for his arrest has been issued following the discovery of the body by a fisherman. The investigation revealed that the victim had suffered multiple traumatic injuries, indicating a violent death. Bălțățeanu is believed to have fled the country shortly after the incident.
