The Sector 1 Court placed four protesters under house arrest following violent clashes with law enforcement during a protest in Victoriei Square. One man was also detained for 30 days. The protest, which attracted around 200,000 farmers, escalated into violence, injuring several gendarmes and damaging property. Ciprian Pamfile, a known instigator, was among those arrested. Investigations revealed that five men, aged 33 to 51, face charges including public instigation and destruction. The protests resulted in injuries to ten gendarmes and significant property damage, with protesters reportedly attacking police with various objects. Another instigator was caught with a firearm in his vehicle.
