Unul dintre cei mai mari furnizori de energie din România și-a cerut insolvența după oprirea centralei de la Cernavodă

Getica 95 Com, the sixth largest electricity supplier in Romania, has filed for insolvency due to the prolonged shutdown of the Cernavodă nuclear power plant. The company, founded by Viorel Tudose, claims losses exceeding 200 million lei as it had to purchase more expensive energy to meet its obligations. Nuclearelectrica, the energy supplier, cited force majeure, preventing it from fulfilling its contracts. Getica 95 has previously undergone insolvency and is currently in legal disputes with Nuclearelectrica regarding the force majeure clause. The company reported revenues of 1.6 billion lei in 2025, with significant losses.
