Unul dintre cei mai mari furnizori de energie din România și-a cerut insolvența după oprirea centralei de la Cernavodă. Pierderi de 230 de milioane de lei

Getica 95, a major energy supplier in Romania, has filed for insolvency after the Cernavodă nuclear plant's shutdown led to significant financial losses. The company reported losses of 230 million lei due to the need to purchase energy from the market at higher prices. Getica 95 contested Nuclearelectrica's force majeure certificate in court, which allowed the latter to halt energy supply contracts. The company, previously insolvent from 2021 to 2023, faces challenges in meeting customer contracts while dealing with rising energy costs. In 2025, Getica reported a turnover of 1.6 billion lei but also net losses of 87.6 million lei, marking its first loss since 2011.
