Unul câte unul, autobuzle Otokar crapă. Încep să dispară din București

The Otokar buses purchased by the Capital City Hall in 2018 are facing numerous technical failures, with nearly half of the 400 vehicles currently out of service. Despite being less than eight years old, these buses have recorded over 26,000 defects since their acquisition. Maintenance was poorly managed, with repairs conducted by a Turkish company that did not allow local mechanics to intervene. This led to inadequate fixes, resulting in safety hazards, including instances of buses catching fire. The buses, which cost approximately 458 million lei, are now raising concerns about future operational issues due to their lack of proper maintenance.
