UNSAR: Bucureștenii au primit 49 de milioane de lei din asigurările pe locuințe. Câți bani au fost acordați în restul țării?

The National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania (UNSAR) is ready to assist citizens in claiming damages from recent floods and storms. The number of claims has increased significantly, with the highest payouts occurring in the Bucharest-Ilfov region. In total, nearly 49 million lei were paid out in this area, marking a 45% rise from the previous year. Other regions, such as the northeast, received substantial compensation as well, with claims totaling around 29 million lei. UNSAR emphasizes the importance of insurance coverage, as only one in five homes in Romania has policies that cover extreme weather events. They encourage affected homeowners to contact their insurers to report damages.
