A new Harry Potter-themed park will open in Abu Dhabi in 2029, featuring a life-sized replica of the Forbidden Forest. This expansion will add three new areas dedicated to J.K. Rowling's universe, covering 63,000 square meters. The park, which opened in 2018, will also include two new DC Comics attractions, increasing its size by over 50%. This development marks a significant shift as the rights to the Harry Potter franchise were previously held by Universal. The Forbidden Forest promises a darker experience with magical creatures, enhancing the park's appeal. The opening could significantly boost visitor numbers, positioning Yas Island as a major entertainment destination.
