Uniunea Europeană cere României să respecte normele privind siguranţa operaţiunilor petroliere şi gaziere offshore

The European Commission has issued reasoned opinions to Poland and Romania, urging them to comply with EU regulations on offshore oil and gas safety. This marks the second stage of infringement proceedings. The directive aims to minimize major accidents in offshore operations and their impact on human life and the environment. The Commission believes both countries are not fully meeting their obligations to prevent and respond to potential offshore accidents. Following previous warnings, they have two months to address the identified issues, or face potential legal action from the EU Court of Justice.
