Uniunea Europeană alocă 2 milioane de euro pentru sprijinirea victimelor inundațiilor devastatoare din Nepal, soldate cu peste 500 de morți
The European Union has allocated 2 million euros to assist those affected by devastating floods in Nepal, which resulted in over 500 deaths. The funds will address urgent needs such as food, medical assistance, clean water, hygiene services, and shelter. This aid complements nearly 3 million euros previously allocated for disaster preparedness and response earlier this year. Additionally, the EU will send a rapid response coordinator to support on-site interventions and has activated the Copernicus satellite mapping service to provide maps of the affected areas.
