"Unionul" din nordul Moldovei: grădina boemei interbelice, renăscută după 30 de ani de paragină
The summer garden of the Mihai Eminescu Theatre in Botoșani, a symbol of Romanian interwar bohemia, has been restored after decades of neglect. This unique venue, originally established by Austrian craftsmen, has reopened to the public, showcasing its historical charm. The garden, which once hosted cultural events for the city's elite, had fallen into disrepair but has now been revitalized with significant local funding. The reopening featured performances that evoked the bohemian spirit of the past, and the garden will continue to host various cultural events. A previously hidden fresco by artist Constantin Piliuță was also uncovered during renovations.
