Unii leșină, alții rezistă: Un tânăr de 19 ani dezvăluie cum se triază viitorii piloți militari

Edmond Postaru, a 19-year-old pilot trainee, has been admitted to the Air Force Academy in Brașov, where he will train to fly F-16s and F-35s. Romania trains only a few dozen military pilots annually while transitioning its fleet. The admission process includes rigorous medical and psychological tests, with only 40 spots available for pilot training each year. Postaru's journey began at 14 when he left home for military school, excelling academically despite the challenges. The country is undergoing a significant military upgrade, having signed a contract for 32 F-35s, with the first deliveries expected after 2030. The new generation of pilots will transition from F-16s to F-35s over the next decade.
