Unicat în România. La Sfântu Gheorghe s-a construit cu fonduri PNRR Muzeul Comunismului „Steaua Roşie"

The Museum of Communism in Sfântu Gheorghe, funded by PNRR, will open next month as a unique national institution. The project, completed on time, created nine jobs after over 100 candidates applied. The museum, located in a former tobacco warehouse, covers 3,000 square meters and features an exhibition on the communist era in Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on Romania's history. Local authorities collected over 160 items from the 1948-1989 period for the collection, including unusual pieces like a hidden surveillance device and a safe found in the building.
