Ungaria urmează exemplul României pentru a-și proteja centrala nucleară

Hungary is taking emergency measures on the Danube to protect the Paks nuclear power plant, following Romania's example. Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced rapid progress, with the first barge already installed. The government has mobilized the army to construct a stone dam by sinking two large barges to redirect water flow and artificially raise river levels. Earlier in August, Hungary temporarily halted the Paks reactors due to historically low water levels. Authorities are implementing a solution similar to Romania's Cernavodă plant, involving dredging and barge use. Magyar confirmed that the plant's turbines are currently generating reliable energy.
