Hungary has resumed operations of a turbine at the Paks nuclear power plant due to rising Danube water levels, which had previously dropped to historic lows. Prime Minister Peter Magyar indicated that while recent rainfall in Austria may temporarily increase water levels, long-term solutions are being sought, including plans for expanding the plant. Meanwhile, Romania has implemented measures to stabilize water flow to its Cernavodă nuclear plant, ensuring cooling water for the next nine days, although risks remain.
