Ungaria se străduiește să găsească soluții pentru creșterea nivelului Dunării

Hungary is diverting water to the Danube and intentionally sinking barges to raise the river's low levels and prevent a nuclear plant turbine shutdown. Since Monday, an additional 20 cubic meters of water per second have been released into the Danube, raising its level by about two centimeters. Controlled sinking of two barges near the Paks nuclear plant aims to create a temporary dam to maintain water levels. The government has approved an emergency project to build a permanent dam, using initially 35,000 cubic meters of rock. Critical days are expected as the river's level may drop further, but conditions could improve with upcoming rainfall.
