Ungaria reevaluează proiectul Rosatom: Centrala Paks suferă restricții, deși Dunărea dă semne de creștere • Newsweek România
Hungary is reassessing the Rosatom project for the Paks nuclear plant due to production issues. The plant, which supplies nearly half of Hungary's electricity, is likely to operate at reduced capacity despite rising Danube water levels. Prime Minister Peter Magyar emphasized the need for a solution to ensure the plant's operation, as the economy cannot sustain prolonged outages. Currently, the plant is functioning at only 10% capacity due to a prolonged heatwave and low water levels in the Danube.
