Ungaria nu mai are președinte începând din 20 iulie. Tamas Sulyok, ales cu sprijinul lui Orban, „pleacă” • Newsweek România

Hungary's President Tamas Sulyok will cease to hold office on July 20 due to a constitutional amendment. This change, promoted by Prime Minister Peter Magyar, undermines the presidential role, making it subordinate to the executive. Sulyok criticized the amendment as a serious abuse of political power, claiming it damages Hungary's constitutional democracy. Following his departure, Agnes Forsthoffer will temporarily assume presidential duties until a new president is elected by Parliament within 30 days.
