Ungaria le va oferi în continuare azil bărbaților ucraineni de vârstă militară, contrar deciziei UE. Motivul invocat de Peter Magyar
Hungary will continue to grant asylum to Ukrainian men of military age, despite EU agreements. Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated that this decision is influenced by ethnic Hungarians fleeing from Transcarpathia. The EU had previously decided that only those who fulfilled military obligations could receive asylum. The situation of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine remains a contentious issue in Hungary-Ukraine relations. Magyar also mentioned that Hungary does not support opening new negotiation chapters for Ukraine's EU accession due to insufficient progress on minority rights.
