Ungaria deschide anchetă penală la Eximbank pentru presupuse abuzuri din era Orban

Hungarian authorities have launched a criminal investigation into alleged abuses at Eximbank, focusing on corruption during the previous administration. The police are examining four cases, including a €1 billion loan to North Macedonia, following a complaint from the Ministry of Economy. Documents have been seized to support the investigation, which aims to address claims of widespread corruption under former Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Peter Magyar, the current Prime Minister, has pledged to tackle these issues.
