The Druzhba pipeline has historically provided favorable oil access to Hungary and Slovakia, but recent geopolitical tensions have led to reduced Russian oil deliveries. Hungary resumed receiving oil in April 2023 after a suspension due to the Ukraine conflict, with current deliveries lower than previous levels.
