Ungaria a acceptat continuarea negocierilor pentru aderarea Ucrainei la UE • Newsweek România
Hungary has agreed to resume negotiations for Ukraine's EU membership and to open clusters 2 and 3, which it had previously blocked. The EU Council's working group approved the screening results for these clusters, allowing for the next steps in the negotiation process. The EU member states are expected to finalize their negotiation positions by October 12, coinciding with legislative changes in Ukraine regarding minority language education. Following this, an intergovernmental conference between Ukraine and the EU is planned for October 13, where the official opening of clusters 2 and 3 will occur. Hungary's previous blockage lasted several months, preventing Ukraine from advancing in the negotiation process.
