UNESCO retrage centrul vechi al oraşului Viena de pe lista Patrimoniului Mondial în Pericol

UNESCO has removed the historic center of Vienna from the World Heritage in Danger list, following a revised construction plan for a skyscraper. The center was initially listed as endangered in 2017 due to concerns over the skyscraper's impact on the city's historical character. The height of the planned building was reduced from 73 to under 50 meters, but it still requires an environmental impact assessment. The historic center, recognized for its unique urban landscape, was designated a World Heritage site in 2001. Currently, 58 sites remain on the endangered list, primarily due to armed conflicts, natural disasters, and climate change.
