UNESCO pune un oraș antic din Crimeea ocupată pe lista patrimoniului mondial aflat în pericol
UNESCO has added the ancient city of Tauric Chersonese and its Chora in Crimea to the World Heritage in Danger list due to concerns over their protection and integrity. The organization noted that Ukrainian authorities can no longer ensure the site's conservation amid new constructions and archaeological excavations. Additionally, UNESCO called for international cooperation to prevent illicit trafficking of cultural goods from Crimea. Other sites, including Paramaribo's historic center, were also listed as endangered due to construction projects lacking impact assessments. The committee expressed concern over ongoing conflicts affecting heritage sites in Lebanon and added three sites to the emergency list due to various crises threatening their preservation.
