Savings varied by region, with the highest in Sud-Vest Oltenia and București-Ilfov, and the lowest in Nord-Est and Sud-Est. Urban households saved more than rural ones, with 15% versus 13.7%. The average monthly income per household was 8,832.3 lei, showing a slight increase from the previous year. Most households, 73.4%, do not have children to support, with a similar distribution between urban and rural areas.
