The Senate approved two fiscal-budgetary measures aimed at urgent funding for Romatsa and enabling Romania to exercise its preemptive right at Neptun Deep. Senator Silviu-Iulian Coşa highlighted that the first project includes measures to eliminate administrative and financial blockages without additional budget costs. These include VAT exemptions for partner armed forces and urgent financing for Romatsa through Eximbank. The second project focuses on energy security, providing commitment credits for gas acquisition from Neptun Deep. The Senate is the first body to review these projects, with the Chamber of Deputies being the decisive one.
