A complex robotic surgery for pancreatic cancer was successfully performed in Timișoara, allowing the patient to be discharged after just six days. The operation, led by Prof. Dr. Ciprian Duță, involved a rare duodenopancreatectomy, which was crucial due to the patient's timely diagnosis. The surgery lasted nine hours and demonstrated significant advantages over traditional methods, including enhanced precision and reduced recovery time. Post-operative results showed complete tumor removal, leading to a favorable prognosis for the patient, who will undergo additional chemotherapy.
