Un zid galic vechi de peste 2.000 de ani, descoperit într-o curte a unui spital din Paris

A 20-meter defensive wall has been discovered in the courtyard of the Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Paris, believed to be part of the ancient Gallic oppidum of Lutetia. Archaeologists found evidence of fire damage and nearby wooden structures, including a Gallic spearhead. Carbon-14 dating suggests the wood dates back to 200-10 BC. The discovery may provide the first material evidence of the Parisii oppidum, which was previously known mainly from Julius Caesar's accounts. Ongoing archaeological research aims to clarify the site's function and chronology.
