„Un tsunami cu evoluție lentă”. Șefa FMI avertizează că inteligența artificială va schimba radical 40% dintre locurile de muncă

Kristalina Georgieva, the IMF director, warns that AI could disrupt the job market significantly, with 40% of jobs potentially transformed or eliminated globally. Strong investments in AI infrastructure are sustaining global economic growth at around 3%, particularly benefiting Asia. However, this growth may lead to a slow-moving 'tsunami' affecting labor markets, taxation systems, and education. Georgieva highlighted that 10% of jobs in the U.S. already require AI skills, while routine jobs decline. The need for governments to address reduced job opportunities for graduates due to AI was emphasized, as well as the risk of economic divergence between developing and advanced economies.
