Turkey is developing a high-speed train line along the Black Sea coast, connecting Samsun to Sarp. The 513-kilometer route is designed for speeds up to 250 km/h and will include 14 stations. The journey from Samsun to Trabzon is expected to take about two hours, while Trabzon to Sarp will take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. The project aims to enhance the railway network in northern and eastern Turkey, with an estimated annual traffic of 12 million passengers and 14 million tons of cargo. Currently, the project is in the feasibility study phase and construction has not yet begun.
