Un tratament oral inovator pentru psoriazis așteaptă autorizarea în Uniunea Europeană

Patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis may soon access the first oral therapy targeting interleukin-23 in the EU, following a positive recommendation from the EMA. This treatment, if approved by the European Commission, will be the first oral option for this condition. The EMA's recommendation is based on phase III clinical trials involving around 2,500 patients, showing significant improvement in skin lesions. The treatment has a favorable safety profile, with fungal infections being the most common side effect. The final decision rests with the European Commission.
