Un tânăr care a înșelat o vârstnică din Apuseni prin metoda ”Copilul Bolnav”, arestat preventiv pentru 30 de zile

A 26-year-old man from Iași has been placed in preventive detention for 30 days for defrauding an elderly woman using the 'sick child' scam. He was involved in a scheme where an 84-year-old woman was tricked into giving away 22,700 lei and 800 euros after being misled by someone posing as her son. The scammer claimed he was in a car accident and needed money for urgent medical treatment in Austria. The woman realized she had been deceived only after contacting her family.
