A London-based AI processor startup, Olix, has tripled its valuation to $3.3 billion after raising $312 million from investors, including Arm and Reed Hastings. The company closed a Series B funding round led by Fundomo, with notable support from Arm and others. Olix appointed Nick McKeown to its board and Matt Briers as CFO, enhancing its leadership team. Founded in 2023 by James Dacombe, Olix's X-1 platform utilizes specialized chips for specific tasks, reducing latency and energy consumption. The funding will help deliver the DX-1 chip to clients by 2027 and expand its custom silicon platform.
