In Călărași, a driver disabled his rear brakes instead of fixing them, endangering himself and others. Minor defects can be easily fixed, but neglect leads to greater dangers and costs. RAR officials warn drivers about the importance of thorough inspections, as many vehicles show alarming modifications, including makeshift repairs to braking systems. Recent traffic checks revealed that nearly half of the inspected vehicles had technical deficiencies, leading to numerous fines and the confiscation of registration documents.
