Un român, martor la tragedia feroviară din Spania. „Eram la 15-20 de metri de trenul cu accidentul. A fost o explozie ca o bombă”

A Romanian witness, Ioan Dunca, described the horrific train collision in Spain, which resulted in at least 68 fatalities. He was near the scene and reported the chaos following the crash. The AVE train collided with a stationary Iryo train due to a system failure. Dunca recounted the explosion and smoke, stating he was the first to call emergency services and helped evacuate injured passengers. Over 500 people were on board the trains, and rescue teams worked overnight to search for victims. The Romanian Foreign Ministry is seeking information on the identities of the deceased and injured to determine if any Romanian citizens were affected.
