The contract for the design and execution of the segment between Târgu Jiu and Târgu Cărbunești was awarded to a Turkish-Romanian consortium, with a contract value of 1.99 billion lei. The project includes complex structures, electric vehicle charging stations, and a connection to Târgu Jiu's bypass road.
