The inquiry began after a traffic stop revealed signs of manipulation. The victim, who inherited a significant fortune, was approached by the woman years ago, leading to a series of financial requests under false pretenses. Investigators found 21 bank transfers totaling nearly €80,000, alongside cash withdrawals and gifts of jewelry. A medical assessment confirmed the man's vulnerable state, suggesting the couple exploited his emotional fragility.
