Un pericol ascuns al utilizării telefonului mobil, descoperit de cercetători. Nu durata utilizării este cea mai mare problemă

A recent study indicates that not only the amount of time spent on smartphones matters, but also how they are used. Continuous scrolling is linked to memory, concentration, and sleep issues, as well as physical effects that may impact balance. The research, conducted by Semmelweis University, highlights that problematic smartphone use is often associated with low self-control and fear of missing out (FOMO). Participants were categorized based on their usage habits, revealing that heavy users performed worse on memory and attention tests. The study suggests that while excessive scrolling may not directly cause cognitive problems, it is associated with them. Researchers recommend healthier habits rather than complete phone abandonment, emphasizing the importance of self-control and reducing FOMO to mitigate problematic usage.
