Un pensionar care n-avea idee că stă pe o comoară ascunsă a vândut-o pentru 2 milioane de dolari: „Nici colecționarilor nu le venea să creadă”

A retired decorator from the UK unexpectedly became a millionaire after selling a collection of Pokémon cards for $2 million. He discovered their value after reading about a single card selling for £6,000. The cards had been stored in his attic for 15 years and were in pristine condition. Initially estimated to fetch £250,000, the auction exceeded expectations, with bidders reaching £100,000 for individual lots. The collector, who bought the cards for his son in the 1990s, was astonished by their worth, stating he had no idea of their value until the auction house informed him. This sale marked the highest amount ever achieved by the auction house in a single sale.
