A large amusement park licensed by Nickelodeon is set to be built near Bucharest, in Cernica, with an estimated cost of 60 million euros. The project, developed by Liebrecht & Wood in partnership with Dutch company Momentul Leisure, will be the first of its kind in Romania, covering 21 hectares. Construction will begin in summer 2024, featuring attractions both indoors and outdoors, including popular characters like SpongeBob and the Ninja Turtles. A wooden rollercoaster is also planned, along with a hotel to accommodate an expected 750,000 visitors annually. Liebrecht & Wood has been active in Romania since 2001, developing various projects, including shopping centers and residential complexes. Additionally, the developer requires another 70 million euros to complete 400 villas in the Liziera de Lac project.
