Egyptian archaeologists have uncovered new evidence that may help identify the lost ancient city of Mesen, linked to the biblical Exodus. The site, Tell Abu Seifi, was along the ancient Military Road of Horus. A massive sandstone lintel inscribed with titles of Ramses II was found, suggesting a connection to the city. The discovery includes remnants of fortified temple complexes and ancient roads. Ongoing excavations aim to provide further clarity on the site's historical significance.
