Un oficial din Ministerul Energiei spune că „e puțin probabilă” repornirea centralei de la Cernavodă înainte de 31 august / Ce impact va avea asupra prețurilor

A Romanian Energy Ministry official stated that the Cernavodă nuclear plant is unlikely to restart before August 31, impacting electricity prices. The plant's shutdown has led to a significant reduction in energy production, forcing Romania to purchase more expensive electricity, particularly in the evening. The average price for evening energy has reached around 200-208 euros/MWh. The government aims to restart the plant in early September, but if conditions do not improve, the energy alert state may continue. The situation is exacerbated by insufficient storage capacities for solar energy, leading to low export prices during the day and high import costs at night.
