Un nou sistem de scanare cu raze X, pus în funcțiune în Portul Constanța
The Romanian Customs Authority has launched a new X-ray scanning system for non-destructive customs control at the Constanța Border Customs Office, funded by EU resources. This equipment enhances scanning capabilities at the port, ensuring uniform control across both sectors. The system will improve image quality and is intended for risk-based transport verification. The project aims to bolster security at the EU's external border by detecting illicit transport and reducing customs wait times. Additionally, real-time image monitoring will be facilitated through integration with the National Customs Imaging Analysis Center, contributing to the modernization of the customs system.
